The advent of high-repetition rate laser facilities (1 shot/minute to 10 shots/second) has dramatically increased the need for laser targets. In some cases, an experiment will require 1000s or even 10000s targets for a campaign, whereas only 10s of targets are required for a facility using single-shot operations. This has caused a paradigm shift in how experiments are planned, executed and analyzed. Our team plans on developing novel target designs for high-repetition rate laser facilities.
