This is a joint materials and structures research proposal which seeks to determine if a 50-55% reduction in CO2 at the source of cementitious systems have sufficient strength and durability for applications in wet-freeze environments like Michigan. The structures component is focusing on bridge-deck applications while the materials component is focusing on pavement applicants.
