Metal-free organic phosphors with fast emission lifetime and high quantum yield


Organic triplet emitters are emerging materials for various modern technologies such as sensors, displays, and solar cells. Precise band gap tuning and vibrational engineering have been studied systematically and fairly well addressed. However, emission lifetime is pinned at millisecond or longer, limiting the practical value of this novel class of materials. In this project, the lifetime tuning will be systematically investigated.
