Synthesis of Composite Organic Electrodes for Energy Storage via Interfacial Polymerization

This project will develop a new family of composite organic electrodes for electrochemical energy storage. Specifically, interfacial polymerization will be used for the first time to coat porous carbon substrates with redox-active organic films into which sodium and potassium ions can intercalate.
